Maybe we don’t encounter problems. Maybe problems encounter us. Maybe problems seek us out because we’ve been too afraid to go out and look for it. Maybe problems come and find us in the middle of the night because they are required in order for us to grow. Maybe problems present themselves to us when we least expect because deep down, we’d rather not know. We’d rather not face the problems. Even though we know they exist. Maybe the only solution has always been to just face the problems forthrightly, rather than hide under the blankets hoping they would disappear. Maybe that’s the way forward. Maybe that’s the only way forward.
